Town hall on Friday will discuss screening, testing, and contact tracing options
June 10, 2020
Dear Johns Hopkins Community:
We hope you are finding our series of town halls on planning for future activities at Johns Hopkins University informative and helpful. The questions and feedback provided by hundreds of participants over the past few weeks have been extremely valuable to the ongoing universitywide planning effort in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the next virtual town hall event from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. EDT on Friday, June 12, we will share our workgroups’ latest thinking about COVID-19 screening, testing, and contact tracing to support the health of students, faculty, and staff during Johns Hopkins’ Phase 1 of reopening. We will talk about current recommendations, which were developed with input from JHU medical and public health experts, and answer questions submitted by participants. Lainie Rutkow, professor and senior advisor to the president, will moderate the event.
You can submit questions in advance at covidtownhall@jhu.edu or during the event. As always, if you are unable to participate, you can share your concerns and feedback through our online form, and town halls are being archived for asynchronous viewing.
We look forward to exploring this important topic, which we know is top of mind for many in our community.
Sincerely,
Jon Links
