Important Health and Safety Requirements
August 10, 2022
Dear Residential Blue Jays,
We are excited to welcome you back to campus for what we know will be a great year. In addition to the message you received from the university on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, we wanted to make you aware of a few additional items related to testing for COVID and isolation for residential students.
Testing
- Self-test kits will be available in the residence halls, SHWC, and at the asymptomatic testing sites throughout the semester.
- Asymptomatic and symptomatic PCR testing will be available for students, faculty, and staff throughout the semester.
Isolation in Place
- We are continuing our practice of isolation in place for residential undergraduates who test positive while on campus. Students who test positive for COVID after arrival in Baltimore, using a home test or a test from a testing center off-campus, should notify the Student Health and Wellness Center using this form and isolate in their room for at least 5 days and until cleared by SHWC staff.
- Arrangements will be made for students isolating in place to have access to meals and the COVID support team (covidsupport@jhu.edu).
Thank you for looking out for one another and doing your part to protect our community. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus soon.
Sincerely,
Jon Conlogue
