On-campus COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics for Affiliates

May 18, 2021

Dear Johns Hopkins Community,

The university will be hosting a series of vaccination clinics where JHU affiliates (faculty, staff, students, and contractors) can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at no cost.

The first clinic is scheduled for Thursday, May 20, on the Homewood campus, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Glass Pavilion. The Moderna vaccine will be offered, requiring a second dose on Thursday, June 17. This clinic is hosted in partnership with Walgreens and requires pre-registration. It also allows you to pick the time slot that works best for you.

Clinics will be scheduled weekly in multiple locations, including East Baltimore and Johns Hopkins at Eastern. Free parking is available for all clinics. Vaccinations are free and staff can use COVID-19 vaccine leave for time off while they receive or recover from the vaccination.

Please check the JHU Vaccine Clinic website for updates on additional clinics as they are scheduled throughout the summer.

To register for the May 20 clinic:

  1. Register here. You will need to create a Walgreens account and enter some information about yourself, including your pharmacy/medical/Medicare information if you have insurance.
  2. On the next page, click “Schedule your appointment for Round 1.” You will then be provided with an option to select your preferred time slot for the upcoming on-site clinic.
  3. After booking, you will receive an email confirming your appointment(s) and vaccination site location. This email will also contain information on how to manage your appointment if you need to cancel or reschedule.

Note: Limited walk-in vaccination opportunities may be available for the May 20 clinic; please contact JhMDVaxinfo@jhu.edu with any questions or for help registering.

If you have questions about the vaccines, please plan to attend the Vaccine Information Town Hall from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19. Panelists will address topics such as vaccine safety and efficacy, JHU policy, and common misinformation. The session will be broadcast live on the JHU COVID Information Website, covidinfo.jhu.edu. Questions can be submitted in advance at HRCOVID19@jhu.edu

Sincerely,
